Child Sponsorship

The Uganda Child Sponsorship project is designed to ensure that children in Uganda are able to attend school and receive a good education.

The children come from extremely poor families. Many children cannot attend school because their families cannot afford to buy items such as boots and exercise books. Without these, children will be sent home and soon drop out of the system.

Sponsorship costs just £15 per month.

Where do they come from?

Kingscare is working with Silvia Pinkney in a village near Jinja in Uganda. She works with around 120 children and young people helping them to be able to attend school and receive a good education.

Kingscare also sponsors children in Kampala with Joel Amonde of R.E.D. Ministries
