Kingscare - God's Love in Action

Street kids programme, Delhi, India

In Delhi, the capital of India, there are tens of thousands of children living rough on the streets.

These are children who have been rejected by their families or who have run away from home. They are often into crime or begging. Some have menial jobs. Many sniff glue.

Our friends, Sanjiv and Sushila, work amongst such children as these. At the moment they have just three centres but they have big plans. They aim to have 10 centres around Delhi within 3 years. Kingscare is planning to help them to turn their vision into reality.

This is Sukhbir. His mother and father lived by the roadside in rural India and Sukhbir and ended up on the streets of Delhi.

He was just 7 years old when he lost his hand in a train accident.

Children like Sukhbir are vulnerable and will soon end up in crime unless they can be reached.
