When Jordi was very young, his mother left him and his brothers alone in a wooden house with a candle burning. The house burned to the ground. Jordi was able to save his younger bother, Kenny, but another brother died. Jordi suffered severe burns on his face and arm, losing three fingers on one hand.

As Jordi grows, he needs a series of skin transplants because the damaged skin doesn’t grow with him. He currently needs a transplant to his face to save his eye-sight and one around the mouth area. When he is 16 years old, he can have some more plastic surgery to give him the chance of a normal life.

Jordi (pronounced Yordy) — aged 12 — and his brother Kenny are a now a part of the “Childen with Hope” children’s home in Huanuco in Peru which Kingscare supports. Jordi is good at his studies and likes basketball and football.

We need about £2500 to complete Jordi’s medical costs over the next few years. If we receive more than this the surplus will go towards the every-day costs of the ”Children with Hope” children’s home in Peru. Can you help Jordi?
